Trillium Language Centre
The Advanced level at Trillium Language Centre is designed to refine students’ English language skills and prepare them for academic excellence. At this stage, grammar instruction is revisited in greater depth using L.R.H. Chapman’s final advanced grammar and exercise books, enabling students to master complex grammatical structures and apply them accurately.
Reading skills are further strengthened through advanced reading comprehension, including impromptu reading activities that develop fluency, confidence, and quick comprehension. Speaking and elocution training focuses on higher-grade IWMS examinations, with added emphasis on impromptu speech, structured presentations, and public speaking, helping students communicate clearly and confidently.
Writing skills are developed at an academic level through exam-oriented answer writing, written examinations, revision papers, and targeted practice using past papers from selected schools. Through this comprehensive approach, all core language skills — grammar, reading & comprehension, speaking, listening, and writing — are strengthened to prepare students for advanced academic and real-world English use.
